Day 51 update
Things are moving on well down here, the tent's filling up and we're past the half way mark.
The Daiquiri Lime and Night Queen are very healthy monsters, while the Colorado Cookie has become a little shrub.
I rearranged the lighting again, this time I have a Skyline above the Lime and Night Queen, then I have positioned the 2 Photons and the Helios 6 at an angle to give side lighting.....
Here's a closer look at the plants.... the Lime is at the front, Night Queen at the back and the tiny Cookie just there on the left.....
Let's get the poxy Cookie out of the way first.....
She's certainly filling out with bud, so I suppose I'll carry on with her. Standing at 26cm , she doesn't get much attention, sharing the light with the others, and she gets a splash of whatever I'm giving the Night Queen.
The Night Queen is well into flower....
She's 70cm tall and 60cm wide and deep, and her buds are looking great. Here's her main cola....
When you brush against her flowers, they smell delicious.... I'm usually crap at identifying aromas, but this one smells just like strawberry milk shake! That pink powdered stuff that makes kids go mental! I'm hoping the Night Queen will do the same to me. Here's a shot of some of her other buds....
Currently the Night Queen is on an EC 1.0 pH6.0 mix of base nutes and the usual Multizyme, Bud XL, Algen Extract (Kelp), and Bud Candy, plus she 's on PK 13/14 for a week then onto Top Shooter for her final 3 weeks.
Finally the Lime.... she is huge at 70cm high but she's a metre wide and 80cm deep..... and just choc full of bud sites and leaves.....
She's not as far into flowering as the Night Queen, here's her main cola tip.....
.... and the developing main cola from the side.....
I have her on an EC 1.0 mix of base nutes and the same additives as the Night Queen, but I'm holding off on the PK 13/14 until those buds get a bit bigger, and she'll need to recover from the defoliation I have planned for her....... It looks like she might be getting a bit warm....... temps hit 32C so heat stress may be an issue, that's why I have added Kelp for extra micronutrients. I will get into the Lime and take out a lot of leaves to help airflow later today, and add another 30cm fan.... those stupid 6inch clipfans are a waste of time.
Good growing karma to all!
