Ya I got more watts in there now lol. That 250w went out with the ballast so I got a different ballast that's 400w mh an I just got my new 400w hps in today. So I got 800watts running on two automazars right now. I need to update soon cause the buds are starting to fill out now. Thanks ab for the tips an advice. Will see how they do on 800watts with a shit ton of co2 pushing in there to. I can't wait to see how they turn out so far tho the regular pot automazar is looking nice but my other airpot one is just as big in bud size an a week an a half behind the one in flower an the airpot one is pushing white solid hairs out still she I sent stopping. But the other one has a good amount of Orange hairs so the airpot one is gonna be a beast but the other one is gonna be a small beast. Abud.... how yuz doing man. The hairs are just starting to turn color, so prob got 10-14 days left Abud. Some DP auto's go 85 days to "Full Cloudy Trichs".......

You will need to flush them for 10 days minimum...... so what day are they in above update ?/

Could you post age with pics etc............. it's easier to monitor progress, i expect the auto maz is day 60-70 ?? during 10 day ( I Do 14 Day Flush With RO Water) flush with Ph 6.6 water, they will fill out and mature the trich base well. Have you had Mazar before ?/ what other DP strains have you grown Abud mate ?/ Autoberry.

These are my first autos if mostly done photos. An ya there like day 72 in those pictures I'm not sure haven't counted an I'm pretty sure there gonna hit around 90days. Just started flushing two days ago. An I'll take some more pics this Sunday so it gives them some time to change what they look like. An thanks ab. I'm thinking the airpot mazar is gonna go to about 100days. Cause she's still pushing out nice thick white hairs but then some are actually changing to Orange. But I know for a fact that the other mazar will be done before the airpot one. The buds on them both are so rock hard there really really dense an thick cover with crystals everywhere. But the airpot plants buds are so much bigger then the other an way more denser I think the airpot is gonna be a nice yield. But I also had problems in the middle of the this grow. My 250hps ballast went out with the bulb so I had to find one. So for like two weeks they ran off cfls barley making it an they were just starting flower. An then when I did find one it was a 400watt mh. So I just got my 400watt hps a couple days ago. If I would have had all this light earlier then they would have been monsters but I did a lot to these two girls to catch up an get my bud weight on the that I lost on the light going out for the two weeks. So I think I did pretty good on trying to get my weight back up to were it should have been. There looking really good now with there own 400watts on each. Can't wait to see what they give me excited for the harvest.

Hey Autobud mate, been around but not long enough to make comment.... buds looking good though Bro, glad you got some decent lighting... just in time, cos now's when they need it!

Keep the MH ready though, some like to use MH in the last 2 weeks to boost trichs.

RO water is also known as Reverse Osmosis water.

Basically tap water has all sorts of stuff in it, Chlorine, Fluoride, trace minerals etc. If you measure the EC of tap water, it may range from EC 0.2 anything up to 0.7 and beyond. EC is the Electrical Conductivity - or another way of saying there's stuff in it. Pure water is EC 0.

When you grow with nutes, you want to have complete control over the EC, and if you want to have EC 1.0 nutes in your feed, and the EC of the base water is already 0.5, you're effectively gonna only be able to add EC 0.5 of your nutes to make a final EC of 1.0.

On top of that the mineral content of your tap water may vary, so you just don't know really how much Nitrogen (N) Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) you have n your nute..... and you need N for veg and P and K for bloom.

Reverse Osmosis is a way of purifying tapwater, its basically a series of filters that removes everything from the water. A RO machine is a simple filter that attaches to your water supply and gives you pure EC 0 water, which you can then add your nutes to.

They look a lot more complicated than they are. I used to have one screwed to a panel of wood, and just rigged it upto the shower hose. Took about 2 hours to make 60L of pure EC water in one of those flexitank things.

I then let it rest for 24 hours then bubble air through it for 24 hours. This gets the oxygen up - great for the roots. I just used a cheap aquarium water pump with a few feet of hose on the end. To get air into you water, you can use an air pump with an airstone, but I used the water pump and hose to pump water out of the res and have it pour back into the res again.... the air gets into as it splashes away - fluming, I think it's called. The water pump and hose is also great for moving quantities of water from one vessel to another quick time. I keep it running in the res while adding nutes etc so it mixes it all up.

1st thing to add is Cal Mag to bring the EC upto 0.2. This helps buffer your water (protect it from wild pH changes)
Then I add the A and B as per the manufactures recomendations, I usually split the res into 2, and add A to one, and B to the other, then mix the 2 back together.

Then I let rest, check and adjust pH, rest again, then add the extras.

You have to read Autoberrys stuff, he is a mine of information, you have much to learn from him.

An I take my water an leave it in the sun for 48 hours an then run it threw the girls. An then I have a massive homemade co2 thing an it's pumping mas amounts in there. I think the airpot am is gonna go to a 100 maybe more she's doing amazing in that pot. The other one will be done around it's normal harvest day.

An ya I got stuck on reading autoberrys stuff I had to stop lol. Got caught up in it had stuff to do but his stuff it's crazy I got to read it twice sometimes. But he's definitely a pro grower.

Tell us more about the CO2 system Bro.

I took two half gallon jugs an one water bottle an some clear hose some sugar an instant yeast an a t shaped fitting.

I cut one hole in the top of each half gallon jug an squeezed the hose threw. Each one then cut the middle of the hose an placed the t shaped fitting in there an put super glue on each fitting before attaching them. Then put three cups of suger in each half gallon jug with two packets of instant yeast in each one to. Then screwed the cap on. But make sure the hose doesn't touch the yeast mix. An then fill the little water bottle up with enuff water so the hose that's attached to the t fitting is seating the water. Then you cut a hole in the little bottle again so another hose can lead wherever you want the co2 to go. Shake it up every once in awhile an it will keep pumping co2 for about a week before you need to replace the mix in the jugs.

But they usually aren't made this big unless your trying to push some serious co2 into your plants.

Abud, re Co2, there have been a lot of trials run with increased Co2 present when somatic growth is occurring in Eupatorium cannabinium, and other inc our canna strains.

It did not give a result that was in the confidence limit of the data produced. Ie the 3% in air, is well sufficient for growth. It is getting it fully saturated into water that is the problem.

High doses in air, in cab are dangerous, and if in excess, will stunt flower growth. Ask teetee, he had a co2 ring around his first set of Dames, and it affected them by volume.

better get yourself the Hailea ACO-9730 - 60 Ltr/Min Super silient Koi Pond diaphragm air pump with a 20cm round aqua angel ceramic micro bubble defuser to treat your water (RO?) buffered with tap water (salts) to 150-200ppm Abud.

water preparation is one of the most important stimulator of somatic growth. The composition of air is correct for the water treatment. The key to RO is you dont need tonnes of nitric Ph down to get to 6.5ph Abud. Like you do in full salt tap water Ec 0.5 ?? or 400ppm plus !!

have you got EC and Ph meter Abud bro ??............. can you find hailea 9730 in your country bro ?? do not stand water outside as the hotter it gets the less oxygen you can defuse into it and co2........... the ideal temp is 21c all year round for feeding ok. as this is the correct temp for best saturation of gasses into it with 9730.

make you res like this once water treated as above for 48hrs minimum.

Ph the res first, down to 5.8-6.0 then add nute to Ec required above the tap water Ec buffer Ec 0.2 or 150-200ppm max buffer. Then Ph back up to 6.3 veg 6.5 mid flower 6.6-6.8 last 3-4wks of flower abud, with silicone, use silicone from the start abud ok, just ph down below 6.5 to allow silicone to bring ph back up ok..... Only use root stim in veg period as roots stop growing at 12/12......

Thanks for that ab. I think I'm gonna do the dps auto ww looks pretty nice. This next grow will be way better so will see how it goes. An I'm not sure if I can get that in US I'll check to see if I can. But before the next grow I'm gonna be trying to get some of muddys leds. Right now I just put the shipping in for the nftg. Herd nothing but good about it so will see. I cut the girls down didn't get much but I'm happy with the quality of the bud. Only reason I didn't get a lot was cause the light went out an it ran on cfls for like two to three weeks. An it's hard to control temps right now as were in the middle of summer with triple digits everyday almost. So I'm just waiting for it to cool down an then start my next grow.
