Here we go then;........................ another journey, this one very different, in style and content !!
The Power Plant is beyond F8. So very stable, genetically. And is subject to selection. This means chromosomal distributions are 'Regularized' or trait constant. And 100% predictable.
Due to 8 or more generations of line breeding. A true monoecious strain. from the Greek mόνος (mónos), single, ie male and female are seperate. so you have a true female wonce males removed. No "Dioecious" tendancy's............... male and female gamete on same plant chrome set.

Ph 6.3 Ec 0.3 nute only/ every day 200ml in 4.5ltr soil. Hoping to end up in 100 days with, packed little 60-80cm new year power plant micro trees, one large centre colas, 80% of normal 18/6 yield, saving.
As it turned out, the lime free sand, "Bulk Bag" wasent lime free !! and or the cocco was very alkaline. And caused high Ph issues, for a while.
Pics from day 6 onwarsd to day 70 Dutch passion's POWER PLANT 12/12
The next are day 70, 11wks of flowering, DP PP >> 90% sativa Flower shots at end, with round up.
Round Up;
The Power Plant, displays a very light green color to slim sativa fan leaves, as a genetic trait. And not as a result of N def,..... as i later found out !! but she has only just started on a few to suck back mobile nutrients, as she moves towards final ripening phase, 7 days of feed left then 14 days flush till she drops, and plenty of amber in her.
This method in 4.5 ltr pots is very efficient with water use, I have halved my water use. as Adsorption is 100%. No transevaporation from large wet soil volumes is mitigated.
The volume of green waste is going to be halved or more to.
Moving the plants around is much easier, and the height issues are kept to 1.2m as a max height. Which is very nice.
keeping the small pot root matrix at a good temperature is harder. And i have had to make allowances for this, additional cost.
The PP has bounced back well from the Ph issue, that reigned for 6-8 days, come day 45.
There is no doubt that this method, will yield from the space my best yet.
There is a good saving on the 18/6 Kw that arnt used to.
Even though i planned for 40% males and got 54% reducing the number of true bred females even further, in addition 2 showed the bollocks on a late day !! day 35-38... two more in the bin. But kept 2 super males and collected their pollen. Separately. So if the one i have left deliver 22 each, i will still beat my best yield to date.
Only sativas will stomach this method,regular indicas dont like it at all. The bonus is, sativas being tall and thin, fir right in well to a compact space.
They are perfect little replicas of a fully expressed plant in 15ltrs. but i dont have 15ltrs ball to get rid off. But i do have 80% of the yield of a fully grown sativa.
And have used half the water lecky and nutes......... with little green waste........... to deal with. And zero risk of intersex........... and so simple to rotate the plants being more manageable size. And to interchange them for height set under different height lights. Like in size classes, superb use of photons !!......
We already know the stamp of this smoke............ legendary PowerPlant............ a class sativa,....... thinking of the DF Regular, for nxt go at this method........Autoberry
Ow, and theres one final addendum;
A long held biological puzzle of photosynthesis, has now been solved. it has stood for a very very long time. It was not know how the Exciton, dislodged by the photon, in a chloroplast cell, made its way to the the P680 reaction centre and delivered its energy, which creates C6H12O6 glucose. The energy of all life on earth. Plant material !! here is the data...AB
It has recently been discovered, and has, until now, remained a great puzzle in biology. And is the riddle of the chlorophyll exciton, and how it reaches the P680/P700 reaction centers in the thylakaoid membrane of the chloroplast.
This discovery, of the final UN-known journey of photosynthesis, in higher terrestrial plants, especially those that survived the KC extinction event, is from the series;
The Secrets Of Quantum Mechanics;
BBC4, 1st aired, 16 December. 21;00. (The Photosynthesis Preambles Starts @ 37Minutes into Episode. BBC Iplayer4 16 Dec 2014
Some new and interesting facts came out of the discovery.
The Free Exciton Electron, dislodged by a photon from the chlorophyll cell, creates a, "Quantum Wave" through the adjacent chloroplasts, to deliver it's free energy to the P680 Reaction Center, where the energy is converted, in the reaction center, to C6H12O6 Glucose.
And that this process only takes, one trillionth of a second.
And that all plants obey the, Uncertainty principles. Of Quantum mechanics.
And that all chloroplasts on the planet, produce 16,000 tonnes of new plant material, on the planet, every second. Thats 960,000 tonnes a minute, of new green plant structures, built, every minute, on our biosphere.
The Exciton path theory, was discovery was made by Dr. Alexandra olaya-castro, with the Eu Larch tree, "larix Decidua". Now we know how the vital energy, could make it's way through the forest of chloroplasts in the cell, to the, destination, the P680/700 Receptor reaction centers, where the photon energy is converted into sugar, C6H12O6. Quantum Mechanics, the exciton, like a wave in all directions at all times, One of the fastest reactions in the kingdom !!
I shall never look at my plants, especially our Kc strains, ever in the same light again.............. without it we wouldn't have "Beef"...!! One of the final riddles in biology, solved. Autoberry
