Thanks Ledbud, I hope you will be around more often to help me get the most from this grow.... all looking very promising!

Day 25 update

Just a little housekeeping today.... I moved the smallest plant, the Critical Jack Auto no1, under the Helios 6, and put the fully revived Chronic Ryder under a Helios Pro 2. They've always been in 22L airpots, (30cm diameter 35cm high), nutrient EC1.3 and run off EC0.6, pH 5.8, 20/4 lights at 20"

They have all begun to stretch, the CJ2 started 1st, followed by the CR. They have both started to show small flowers so I am very pleased.... just over 3 weeks in. My little girls are growing up.... I can even smell a little perfume!

As they are getting quite bushy, with the large fan leaves preventing new branches getting light, I decided to place some stakes in and start to train the branches out....

Then I spaced them out....they're filling out nicely!

day 25 looking ok tee........................... they are very bushy pheno,s tee................... they look like they been topped, but they havant. Lights right height to bro. What is day low and night high temp at mo teetee....??.............

Do you Ph res and spin over just before, delivery to and or by the watering system ??................ how are yuz getting on with the system ?? interested to know.......... do you have an anti siphon air inlet fitted tee ??......... to stop siphoning of nute etc tee.......

I had, stil have a 12no spike system from a spider manifold.................... that worked well......... but would need two of them now............... but still do by hand as, otherwise the ones that dont drink, sit in water and and stunt .......... like getting to know a pac of unruly puppies !! Will start PP 12/12 from seed on ere shortly,......... but with daytime job dont get as much time................ performing like a ballerina on a shoeshine wage..!!.................

Thanks for comment on 420 re GlennOrch. DP where invited by "Fran" Destroyer breeder in Argentina. To do a new "Collaborative" strain for Eu market. Fran, ie Francis, has nothing to do with "Charlie" in Madrid, ex of Cannabiogen. Which is still in business and healthy as you like. Where he got the Destroyer strain from no one knows !!

But we know where ours comes from. Fran in Argentina. Nothing to do with Charlies version at all. There's no doubt it was a trade secret till now. But the halabaloo over this unique "Gem Of Mother Nature" has exited the surface !!

Thanks to Frans collaboration. The meow was to unstable so Fran say's.......... so we used the ox or Colombian, for the DP collaboration invitation. How did the invite come about............ simple.........DP have won many accolades, cups & awards in South America. Caused a northern Europe strain debate. As they compare to the DF of their own joy's of nature.

Would need to be a class act to be invited. Theres only one Guy in this nebula, that was the creator of 98% feminized seeds, Henk. a quality person to invite, a canna master geneticist
As i have just hunted down a whole bunch of males at day 21, from a regular pack. I can see the issue from the old Pre Fem Days.............. male hunting, you can not afford to miss one !! no second chances,...I see Henks "Original Point".......... you have to be experienced to tackle it and succeed, with regulars. Whey beyond most growers. I had two PP's throw the balls at day 35. Whey after the main sexing event. mother nature, tryed and failed to throw a curve ball in. i spotted them well early, after the first male rush for the pussy calyxes, had died down end of day 23. But she would have caught most out i am sure, if i wernt still keeping an eye out.. For sure, theres looking in, and then there "Looking and Seeing"........... i managed to exit that one in tact !!

And the whole lot of data you dont have to learn to get all dames, from regs......is another benefit feminization, and inexperienced growers can do it without being caught out by mother natures curve "Balls"....... and a sharp, keen knowing experienced eye to find them pre sex, micro sexing, like a tefal bod with the large black magnifying glass sat on the floor in middle of regular PP cohorts.......searching the sex organs like a canna fetishist !!

from my wide research on regs. I planned for 40% males, ample i thought,. number of beans accordingly. my particular genetic lottery, (Shelved by feminization) came out 53% male outcome. First time out. The best two males have been kept for 'yellow Dust"............... as i will need a shit load a beans nxt time round, for 12/12 regs from seed. AB's F1, Line back-crossed PP reg. Hoping grand ma and pa where blatant trich producers......... and show up inmy PP F1...!! pure bred regulars.

Just had a mate fresh back from dam crawl over 5 days !!............. he dosent know what my next one is. But reported the best out of all companies, over the 5 days was was the DP PP in coffee shops.......... nothing has changed since early 90's then !!.............. ive never had it. it's 85% of DF power mr t say's......... fair play then.....look out PP legend, here comes the DF To Dam Square, thanks to DP, who else !!...... Hi Autoberry and LEDBud, thanks for contributing

FUCK I got home this afternoon, it's been very hot today.......temps in the tent reached a max of 42C :o :? :(

Luckily it was during lights off, and the girls are looking lovely still. Min temp in the last 24 hours 22C, i would say that usually the max temp is no more that 28-29C, today was unusual to say the least, but a sign of things to come, once December hits, it will be an oven.

I received the Blumat automatic watering system this week, so installed it yesterday..... took a while, but only bacause I was supposed to be looking after the kids as well, so it was 5 mins here, 5 mins there etc. with lost of screaming in between.::::

It is very neat, and all connected to a 50L res, raised off the ground by 1 metre to allow the pressure to feed the lines. I was able to get out my trusty Bluelab guardian, so I can now continually monitor EC and pH. I was mixing up 10L nute at a time in a watering can, but I was beginning to have to make a fresh one daily, so I think the Blumats came just in time..... I can just sit back and let the Harvest Master play with the weather, and the Blumats feed the girls, while I concentrate on getting stoned. I have a simple water pump in the res just turning it over and fluming it to get some O2 in, but I only run it a few times a day instead of continuously..... the extra O2 was changing the pH.

Must run, more later, with pics!

What's PP....Power Plant? That's 100% sativa, man I would never sleep if I smoked that!

Here's my girls, at day 29...

At the moment, I try to keep the lights 20 inches above each plant, but they need raising by 2 inches a day these past few days....
EC 1.5 for all 3, pH 5.8..... i think the EC is quite high, the plants are only 4 weeks old, and everyone goes on about how Autos are light feeders! I select my nutrient EC depending on the run off EC.

They are smelling nice too, so it's a good thing my Phresh Carbon flter arrived this week, along with the Blumat.

Now I must get back to my joint...::::

Day 35 update

Well, my girls have hit the 5 week mark, and they are doing very well.

Chronic Ryder is advertised as a 65 day finisher, whereas the Critical Jacks are 70-75 days. As a consequence, Chronic Ryder has the most developed flowers, followed closely by Critical Jack 2. Both have stretched, and are 80cm tall, the Critical Jack 1 is at 50cm but is very bushy and just showed early flowers and is beginning to stretch.

A closer look

Nutes have been H&G Cocos the whole way, with the following additives:

Drip Clean 0.1ml/L
Roots Excellurator 0.3ml/L
Amino Treatment 0.4ml/L
Multizyme 1ml/L
Nitrogen 0.35ml/L

EC is 1.6, pH 5.8

I will keep Critical Jack 1 on the same formula for another week, and water her by hand. I will also make up a new res for the Blumats to feed the Critical Jack 2 and Chronic Ryder. For this mix, I will cut the Nitrogen, and phase out the Roots Excellurator and Amino Treatments, and start introducing Bud XL.

Here they are:

The Blumats are doing prety well, I feel like they are constanty dripping (albeit fairly slowly), and the top fingertip depth of Coco is fairy dry so the Girls must be drinking allright. Every 2 days or so, I give them a good drench by hand, just to douche them out a bit.

One thing that pisses me off is the tent... the Phresh fan is only on about 35%, and the walls bow in by 17cm, so my 1.4m x 1.4m is really almost a 1m x 1m tent. I am seriously concerned that the tent will implode if I crank up the fan much higher!

Thanks for looking in,

Respect, TT

As you may remember, I did a grow previous to this, a change from my usual DWC in the UK, my 1st attempt in soil in a country far, far away.
I realised pretty early on this was going to be an especially notable grow...

Now at day 65, I am sure you will be stunned by the amazing lush growth and heavy yield of tasty dank buds.....

Gentlemen, I give you 'Ogre' by the Joint Doctor.....

look, it's just there.... in the middle of the picture.... are you BLIND???

Ooooh I'd wanna be careful..... that there, my esteemed friends, is one fully mature cannabis plant grown using a sophisticated set up...... it's been sitting outside for 5 weeks, I dunno how the neighbours (1/2 a km away) haven't dobbed me in, cos she STINKS not

Round these parts, 4 plants gets you in reasonable trouble, I'll stick to just one.... and pull my present grow..... after all, there's feckin tons of bud there..... why be greedy?

Back on track with my current grow....

Day 41 Update

All is good, I've kept the EC at 1.6, pH fluctuates between 5.7 and 6.2 and they're on the same nute mix as last week.
I staked out the smallest plant at the back.... the Critical Jack 2 as she was getting very bushy to the point where new shoots were being obscured by the the sheer bulk of big fan leaves.
