Day 92 - 39 days into flowering.

The tent is getting full...
day 92 group 1.JPG
clockwise from top left... , PAK2, Des Frans, PAK1 and Gorilla

I tried to get a shot from above to show the full extent of the canopy....
day 92 group 2.JPG

Not much difference really!

The PAKs are about a week ahead of the Gorilla and Des Frans, mainly because they have been well behaved all through the grow so far, and didn't need much in the way of supercropping.

PAK1 is raised to the level of the others. She is nice and compact with good looking colas forming. They were beginning to bow out, so I have had to put in a few stakes to support the weight of them and bring her in a bit.
day 92 PAK1 1.JPG

Here's the main cola...
day 92 PAK1 2.JPG

PAK2, is huge, and it's been quite hard to get a picture that shows her in all her glory.

This is from the front door, you can see a supercropped Gorilla stem right at the front.... everything behind that is PAK2.....
day 92 PAK2 1.JPG

This is from the left side door....
day 92 PAK2 2.JPG

Again, some support is needed to keep those heavy buds up...
day 92 PAK2 3.JPG

Gorilla has been recovering from some late supercropping, so she's a week behind the PAKs....
day 92 Gorilla 1.JPG

Here's one of the supercropped stem tips.....
day 92 Gorilla 2.JPG

.... and another main stem......
day 92 Gorilla 3.JPG

Des Frans is a couple of weeks behind the PAKs.... she takes longer anyway, plus she was supercropped a lot. I have cut off a lot of stems from her, so she can just concentrate on making bigger buds up top.

Again, due to her size and lack of access at the back, it's hard to get a decent photo. This is from the front door.....
day 92 Des Frans 1.JPG

.... and from the right side door....
day 92 Des Frans 2.JPG

.... and here's a supercropped stem tip.....
day 92 Des Frans 3.JPG

The brown tips on all of them are probably due to me being a bit hot with nutes 2 weeks ago. There also seems to be a bit of Cal Mag def going on, so I will conside increasing Cal Mag next feed.
I have reduced the ECs in response to the tip burning, and they seem happy.

Last week, week 5 of bloom, I gave the PAKs some PK13/14, and now week 6, they are on an EC0.9 feed with BAC Nutrients 'F1 Extreme' late flowering booster at half strength.

This week (6) I started giving the Gorilla and Des Fran PK13/14, and will move onto F1 next week.

I was given the F1 (NPK 0-13-19) by my growshop dude for free last year when they ran out of my usual H&G Top Shooter (NPK 0-20-9). It seemed to do just as good back then, and as I can't afford some Top Shooter this grow, I've dusted off the bottle, and will use the F1 instead.

The tent stinks of cannabis, and when I was putting in the stakes and yoyos, my arms were up in welts and my eyes were burning, only antihistamines sorted it out.... YES!

Cheers mate, it really stinks in there, and too much handling and my skin/eyes start to burn. Gonna be a great harvest I hope!

It's been a long long journey Bro, I can't wait to get back to doing Autos again!

Day 106 (day 53 flowering)

Not long to go now!!! This grow has taken ages, what with the extended veg period while I fucked around with the pH and everything.
Since then, I've not bothered with pH readings, I just mix and go.

The Autumnal colours in the tent give away my 'fly by the seat of my pants' technique.....
day 105 Group 01.JPG
Clockwise from top left, PAK2, Des Frans, PAK1 and Gorilla.

Now we are in mid 8th week of flowering, and the PAKs are supposed to finish on day 60. They are closest to being done, as I didn't play around with them too much.

PAK1 will finish first, probably right on time.....
day 105 PAK1 1.JPG

She is so nearly done, I'm seeing all milky trichomes with a few ambers here and there. The buds are heavy and sticky AF.

I'm also seeing a purplish tiint to the leaves, but a whole lot more browning as the F1 Extreme Booster wrings all the sugars out of the leaves....
day 105 PAK1 2.JPG

PAK1 was a slow starter, and is no where near as tall as the others, so much so that I have had to put her on a box to lift her up.... but she's come good!
day 105 PAK1 3.JPG

I reckon I will take her down next weekend, bang on 60 days.

PAK2 will be next to come down, probably 3-4 days after PAK1.
She is a sizable beast.....
day 105 PAK2 1.JPG

Looks like 2 plants there, but no. She's big, front and back, and in the valley of Kush.....
day 105 PAK2 2.JPG

She's also browning off a bit, but this always happens when I use F1 Extreme or Top Shooter.... they are both very strong additives, and the feed is only at EC0.9 for both PAKs, and EC 0.8 for the Gorilla and Des Frans.

The PAKs both drink about 6-7L a day, all single day feeds, and the buds on PAK2 are looking tasty....
day 105 PAK2 3.JPG

You can see the effects of the F1.... as those little budlets shoot out of the colas.....
day 105 PAK2 4.JPG

day 105 PAK2 5.JPG

Gorilla will be another couple of weeks yet, even though she's supposed to be done between 58 and 63 days ... she was heavily supercropped in mid bloom, and needed an extra week to recover.
The supercropping has given her a lovely canopy of bud.....
day 105 Gorilla 1.JPG

In the middle, is that stem I pretty much snapped in half.... she has amazingly shrugged that off, and has built a bypass around the shattered remains of her stem.....
day 105 Gorilla 2.JPG

This is the tip of that stem.... looking fine, with some PAK2 buds in the background.....
day 105 Gorilla 3.JPG

Des Frans was also supercropped heavily, and I cut out a lot of the straggly stems, just leaving this.....
day 105 Des Frans 1.JPG

What's there is looking lovely.... fat clumps of bud with REALLY strong resin coated all over them.....
day 105 Des Frans 2.JPG

day 105 Des Frans 3.JPG

day 105 Des Frans 4.JPG

She also has a good 2-3 weeks left in her I reckon... just have to wait and see!

That's it for today, have a good 'un!
:grin:::::

I wanted to get some better pictures of this grow, so I managed to get some time with my Girls just before lights on yesterday using a torch.... bit shakey, but an improvement, so here's a few photos just with the flash.... no growlights to confuse the old peepers.

Day 113 - 60 days floweriing

Starting with the obligatory group shot...
day 113 Group.JPG
clockwise from top left: PAK2, Des Frans, PAK1 and Gorilla

In the middle, there's a spot where the buds from all 4 plants come together.....
day 113 All in one.JPG

At the top we start with a couple of PAK2 buds, then a Gorilla top comes in from the left, tied to a stake.
Just below and to the right comes a supercropped Des Fran top supported by a Yoyo with a PAK1 cola in the front right.

The PAK1 is in mid flush, I'm looking to harvest her on Wednesday night.
day 113 PAK1 1.JPG

She's got a great structure... just long stems of sticky budness....
day 113 PAK1 2.JPG

day 113 PAK1 3.JPG

I'm gonna start flushing PAK2 in a couple of days time for a next weekend chop...
day 113 PAK2 1.JPG

Plenty of knobbly buds on her!
day 113 PAK2 2.JPG

day 113 PAK2 3.JPG

day 113 PAK2 4.JPG

Gorilla is filling out.....
day 113 Gorilla 1.JPG

Still a couple of weeks before I flush her, I think.....
day 113 Gorilla 2.JPG

Des Fran also has a couple of weeks left in her.....
day 113 Des Frans 1.JPG

day 113 Des Frans 2.JPG

day 113 Des Frans 3.JPG

It's great, this year for 420, they've given us the Friday and Monday off, and the shops are full of chocolate munchies in hallucinogenic rabbit and really cool egg shapes.

Hope you're all having a stony 420 Holiday weekend!

So we're getting close to the end of this, my 1st Photo grow. I feel like I've had to work for this one!

I took PAK1 down on Wednesday night, 118 days from seed, 65 days into flower.

As I said in my last post, she had a great structure.... 9 stems spread out evenly with very little fluff, making harvest a breeze.
day 118 PAK1 crop 1.JPG

day 118 PAK1 crop 2.JPG

Her main stem was only 6cm to the highest branches.... 9.5cm to the withered tip.... I fucked up topping her
day 118 PAK1 crop 10.JPG

In the end, this is what I got off her..... 9 good looking stems and 3 small piles of bud..... scrag, small and medium sized, and a pile of leaves for making some Canna Cocconut Oil.
day 118 PAK1 crop 3.JPG

day 118 PAK1 crop 4.JPG

I hung the stems in a box, brown paper bagged the buds and bagged the leaves for the freezer.
I then dried the scrag in the oven at 50°C for half an hour or so and smoked it to celebrate the first one to the finish line.

It was a weird smoke, not having done this kind of shit in years..... for the first half a joint, I was sitting there wondering if I'd fucked it up, then BOOM! I was mashed!

Over the last few days, me and the Missus have been making our way through the loose bud, oven dried each time..... I feel like I'm a student again, living in a South London squat (oh, happy days)..... honestly, having smoked only cured home grown for the last few years, I've become such a weed snob!

I'm looking forward to seeing how this stuff tastes after a month in jars.... it certainly hits the spot stone-wise, and I can only expect that to mean it will be mental once cured.

Here's a few final shots of DinaFem's 'Purple Afghan Kush 1'.....
day 118 PAK1 crop 5.JPG

day 118 PAK1 crop 6.JPG

day 118 PAK1 crop 7.JPG

There is a purplish tinge to her..... I dunno if I'm imagining it or
day 118 PAK1 crop 8.JPG
One thing's for sure, she's nice and juicy..... I fired up the rig and dabbed the scissor hash.... very nice!!!
day 118 PAK1 crop 9.JPG

PAK2 has been flushing since Tuesday, so I'm gonna start cropping her tonight, and I'll start flushing Des Frans tonight as well.

Gorilla still needs more time.

Have a great weekend everyone!
:grin:::::
