Day 51 update

Things are moving on well down here, the tent's filling up and we're past the half way mark.
The Daiquiri Lime and Night Queen are very healthy monsters, while the Colorado Cookie has become a little shrub.

I rearranged the lighting again, this time I have a Skyline above the Lime and Night Queen, then I have positioned the 2 Photons and the Helios 6 at an angle to give side lighting.....
day 51 group 1.JPG

Here's a closer look at the plants.... the Lime is at the front, Night Queen at the back and the tiny Cookie just there on the left.....
day 51 group 2.JPG

Let's get the poxy Cookie out of the way first.....
day 51 CC1.JPG

She's certainly filling out with bud, so I suppose I'll carry on with her. Standing at 26cm , she doesn't get much attention, sharing the light with the others, and she gets a splash of whatever I'm giving the Night Queen.

The Night Queen is well into flower....
day 51 NQ1.JPG

She's 70cm tall and 60cm wide and deep, and her buds are looking great. Here's her main cola....
day 51 NQ2.JPG

When you brush against her flowers, they smell delicious.... I'm usually crap at identifying aromas, but this one smells just like strawberry milk shake! That pink powdered stuff that makes kids go mental! I'm hoping the Night Queen will do the same to me. Here's a shot of some of her other buds....
day 51 NQ3.JPG

Currently the Night Queen is on an EC 1.0 pH6.0 mix of base nutes and the usual Multizyme, Bud XL, Algen Extract (Kelp), and Bud Candy, plus she 's on PK 13/14 for a week then onto Top Shooter for her final 3 weeks.

Finally the Lime.... she is huge at 70cm high but she's a metre wide and 80cm deep..... and just choc full of bud sites and leaves.....
day 51 DL1.JPG

She's not as far into flowering as the Night Queen, here's her main cola tip.....
day 51 DL2.JPG

.... and the developing main cola from the side.....
day 51 DL3.JPG

I have her on an EC 1.0 mix of base nutes and the same additives as the Night Queen, but I'm holding off on the PK 13/14 until those buds get a bit bigger, and she'll need to recover from the defoliation I have planned for her....... It looks like she might be getting a bit warm....... temps hit 32C so heat stress may be an issue, that's why I have added Kelp for extra micronutrients. I will get into the Lime and take out a lot of leaves to help airflow later today, and add another 30cm fan.... those stupid 6inch clipfans are a waste of time.

Good growing karma to all!

i had some seeds dont grow big, i grow 3 automazar all in same room but 1 was like your cookie and other 2 got really big.
i thing some seeds are more ruderalis dominant.
she will finish early and you still get some good smoke.

Hi, sorry it's been a while, my computer's fucked so I'm having to arse about with an old laptop with various issues, such as broken keyboard, broken screen, broken hinges and the knack of shutting down at crucial moments.

It's day 77, and we're in the final stages now.
The Cookie has been on a flush since day 71, the Night Queen has been on flush since day 74. I'm flushing with EC0 rainwater with added Advanced Nutrients "Flawless Finish"..... they claim that it removes all nute build up, without stressing the plant. Rather than just flushing out the residual nute build up and starving the plant, it makes the nutrients available for the plant to feed on as well, so it can still take what it needs as it gets flushed.

I took some photos on day 74 for a little update before I get into harvesting mode.........

Let's get the Cookie out of the way first.....
Day 74 CC1.JPG

She's actually not looking too bad considering I've ignored her for the best part of this grow.....
Day 74 CC2.JPG

Day 74 CC3.JPG

I'll harvest her tomorrow night. I usually take stems off and trim them one by one, but in this case I will trim the plant in her pot and get a few pics. I'm smoking some Colorado Cookie right now (from my last harvest) - it's my favourite, so I'm disappointed I'm not getting a bigger haul.

The Night Queen makes up for my Cookie woes..... I was expecting a little tiddler, but instead, I've been gifted with this great big beast....
Day 74 NQ1.JPG

Look at the way the Top Shooter has made the buds literally explode with new growth......
Day 74 NQ2.JPG

Here's some more of her buds......
Day 74 NQ3.JPG

Day 74 NQ4.JPG

Day 74 NQ5.JPG

The Daiquiri Lime has a few more weeks in her. She's on an EC1.0 feed, and is piling on the bud.....
Day 74 DL1.JPG

This is her main cola....
Day 74 DL2.jpg

..... and a bit closer.....
Day 74 DL3.JPG

She's another big girl, and is packed with thick hairy colas.....
Day 74 DL5.JPG

The pistils are still mainly white, so there's plenty of time for her to put on even more weight!!
Day 74 DL4.JPG

I've removed all of the brown leaves and some of the yellower ones since these photos were taken..... I'm not too bothered about this, I think it's the plant using up all the goodness stored in the leaves and the flowers themselves look very healthy.

I need to decide what to plant next..... I'm thinking one more Cookie and Night Queen, plus a Think Big. I am about to skin up some Blackberry Kush from the last grow..... smells like Ribena in my grinder!

That's it for now. next update will be harvest shots of the Cookie and Night Queen. Thanks for checking in!

This grow is coming to an end, and my computer's still fucked, so here's an update....

The Colorado Cookie was taken down on day 79. I just trimmed her in the pot, then cut her off at the base and hung her upside down in a cardboard box for 10 days till the stems snapped. She's now been broken down into buds and is curing in a jar with a few Boveda 62's.

The Night Queen is also curing, having been harvested on day 82.... taking 3 nights to get the job done. I hung the long cones in a cardboard box, and brown bagged the rest. There's some lovely bud curing in a few jars, again with the Bovedas.

I haven't weighed it all, but the Night Queen was heavy and the Cookie just about filled a jar ... I'll do a weigh up once the Lime is down.

That brings me to the Lime.... she's done 2 days flush with EC 0 rainwater with added AN Flawless Finish and it's day 92.

Most of the leaves have browned off and shrivelled up, so I've spent a while removing them. She really is a monster, totally full of thick sticky limey bud!!!

Here she is from the front door.....
day 92 DL1.JPG

.... I turned her around to show you how the other side looks.....
day 92 DL2.JPG

Here she is from the top......
day 92 DL3.JPG

..... and when I rotated her........
day 92 DL4.JPG

Finally her main cola......
day 92 DL5.JPG

You might have seen a few pots in those overhead shots, covered with bits of cardboard and wood..... I have some more on the go.....

2 nights ago, I planted one Colorado Cookie in a 20L airpot, a Night Queen in a 5L airpot, and a final 20L airpot with a new strain for me.... Think Big.

I thought I'd go straight to 20L for the Cookie to avoid transplant shock, same for the Think Big..... the Night Queen did well this time, so I'll grow the new one exactly the same way.... plus that was all the Coco I had, so it worked out well all round.

The 3 seeds were planted directly in fresh Coco soaked in an EC 0.6 nute mix with Roots Excellurator and added Nitrogen.
I'm sure I'll start a new journal for these, once I get my arse in gear.

I'm jumping for joy, not just cos of my impending Daiquiri Lime harvest, but also cos my new babies popped last night! Thats 48 hours from fridge to viable seedlings!!!
I'm especially looking forward to growing Think Big, but I'm also looking to grow a monster Cookie. And if I get another Night Queen like this one, I'll be stoked!

Hi Belfiore
I had a joint of the Night Queen scissor hash and it was knockout.
The buds are curing for another 3 weeks and I won't smoke any till then, no point wasting good buds, eh?
Gonna start taking down the Lime tonight!

Hi Ledbud and Belfiore, FINALLY I bought a new laptop, so up and running again.

I realised I never finished this diary..... this is a post dated 24th Nov 2016.......

I had to have a weigh in.... everythings been curing for a few weeks now, I have 11 big jars, crammed to the top with nice sticky smelly bud!
Lets start with the Colorado Cookie, she had a mishap during her transfer from 5L airpot to 20L airpot, and got stressed out at the crucial stretch phase......
She comes in at 45g or 1.59 oz

The Auto Night Queen was lovely, she smells so good, and I'm just having my first smoke of her, absolutely delicious, really sweet strawberry milkshake kinda taste with an earthy plummy kinda aftertaste, and really potent!
Night Queen gave me 282g or 9.95oz - pretty much 10 ounces of what looks like being my new favourite smoke.

Finally the Daiquiri Lime..... you better take a seat....
506g or 17.85 ounces!!!!! Half a fucking kilo!!!!!

So in total, this grow of 3 auto flowering plants has yielded 833g or 29.4 ounces!
I'm now gonna enjoy this lovely Night Queen joint, it's such a quality smoke!
