G'day folks,
I'm not so happy today on day 49..... opened the tent to see the the edges of the uppermost leaves of AU1 and AU2 all curled up.....
Bud production has slowed down considerably, and they are drinking 5 litres, twice a day with minimal run off.......
.... where as the smaller CJ is doing very well in her limited space....
Here's a group shot showing how big the AUs are compared to the CJ front left.....
I've been running loads of lights, a 600W HPS over AU1, with LEDs over the rest..... temps were 28-29C on average, but the HPS was at max height, and even then, the plants were only a matter of inches below.....
...... a classic case of the dreaded......
H E A T S T R E S S
So I set about removing the HPS and repositionning the LEDs as high as possible and as evenly as possible over them, hopefully this will allow them to recover and get on with flowering.
This is how I set everything up now....
I've got some H&G Algen Extract, which is basically a Kelp extract, I have read that this is good for heat stress.... anyone tried this??
I'll let you know how they get on..... any tips here would be well appreciated.
Have a good 'un!
