i'm not quite certain about exact location mate... I understand what to look for,... it's just the exact location of thebracts....can it be anywhere on the plant....or are they only just the lower bracts or ones closes to the stem etc?

Any spot there's an internode, from top to bottom of the plant. Every single branch-off and split.

Depends on the extent of inheritance,...........but in a lot of cases between the 2nd and 6-8 internode, close on trunk bracts, anoyingly, usually the otherside of an internode from the calyx with phistil.

Here are three examples dudes.....look for it on a small stalk above and to side of "Stipules Tee.......if theres more than 1 item above stipule its usuall a bollock cluster.......usualy only one phistilate calyx at internode site, staggered after 12/12 parrallell before 12/12, the branching is............

Evening,

I thought I should put up some more pics. It's been a quiet week, just a little trimming here and there to aid airflow and light penetration.

The flowers are thickening up and it looks like lots of little cotton balls all over my plants. The pics dont really do them justice (probably because of the lack of depth of field).

I realised the 'nano' reflector on the T5 was stopping the plants nearest it from getting light, so I removed the lower part of the reflector to spread the light downwards.

I'm also thinking about getting one or two Helios 2's to use either side of the Helios 6, but I will have a word with Muddy first...

I'm beginning to notice the leaves are getting tacky to touch  and when I've finished a trimming session, my fingers are nice and sticky :o

To most of you, this is nothing new, but to me... a 1st timer.... this is pure magic!!!

I'm planning a full drain and replenish of my reservoir tomorrow night, EC is still at 1.0, no fluctuations.

I left the T5 on by mistake the other night so they only got 5-6 hours sleep, I guess I shouldn't do that again very often!

:grin:::::

A lot of people worry about light stress. I don't. Typical outdoor cannabis gets anywhere between 2-6 weeks of near full-moon intensity light during the night over their average flowering period. I've run many grows in closets with those dual mirrored sliding doors that tend to have a 1cm-3cm gap between the door overlap, and have never had anything hermaphrodite on me. In fact, I've done reveg after harvest on 100% landrace strains (from China, Russia, Hungary, Turkey,) still not stressing them.

You really only have to worry about hermpahrodites if the genes are there. If the genes are there, when sexual maturation occurs, they will show up, guaranteed. Stress just makes them show earlier in an attempt to reproduce before duress kills them.

There a fair few pineapple nuggetts on that pineapple tree Tee...............at Ec 1.0 no tip burn showing at all Tee...........see how the centres are lighter green when post emergence...............that tells you you could push the ec up a bit........but slowly ok.............looks like the pineapple can take a smidge more bredren................smidge it up to 1.1 for a few days (4-5) see if the tips show...........then run it up another 0.1....................the srog has recovered admirably..................looks ok Tee..............suggestion would be...........put the helios on angle and put a 189 photon above for flower, even better 2no 126's for wider coverage etc they might need the extra photons,..........can never have enough PAR !!.........but looking forward to your first hall....yey...........did you figure out the dry & cure protocols ok Tee ??...........AB......

Cheers AB,

that's high praise indeed, but I'm painfully aware that I could have ruined the grow numerous times if it weren't for you and the Guys on this forum. I have got top quality advisors here that make me feel very lucky to have met... none of the other sites are at this level of knowledge.

Your drying / curing protocol is just a perfect example, completely different to anything I've ever come across, but I think I am ready for that. It makes total sense in that you have a way of keeping the buds at a fixed and measurable state, rather than guestimating the right time to store and risk lower potency or worse still, mould etc

I'm sure I will need to recap closer to the time, but thanks for the info and the bollock pics!!!

Enjoy what's left of the weekend peeps!
