You've done this before, haven't you mate?

Stunning grow, with a forest of thick sticky trees..... I'm impressed!

Well done Bro.... all the best for the chop!

hahaha teetee, i can honestly say that i havent grown like this before. I did a dieselryder back in 2010 with a CFL, but i dont think you can count that, it was fucking awful. That was a catalyst to make this one good.

TBH mate i think it is the advice taken from the likes of yourself and ledbud... you guys just have a staggering amount of knowledge and to have that at my disposal... That alone has saved me years of pissing around!

Can't wait for the final chop and weigh in. LemonZkittles getting popped soon so ill start a new thread in due course.

peace bro, and thank you so much for your kind words. Im boosted.

Hello everyone!! Super happy today!!!

My 3 sky 100s came last night and I'm impressed again... I dont really think i need to say. This is just a quick post to show how one of them looks in the tent as im really busy over the next few days!

The other two will be getting put to use very soon, just have to prep their space and make sure its nice and comfy for them.

There will be an overlap at some point in the next grow where the girls will have:

- 1x Skyline 600 mk2 > 300w >>>>>
- 1x Skyline 400 mk2 > 200w >>>>> . Total energy for lighting 650w... in 0.93m squared. That should be really fun :headbang::headbang:

- 3x Skyline 100s. > 150w >>>>>

In the previous posts if you scroll up you can see te dark spot this Sky100 is filling... and Plant 1 just loves having her own light, I had to tuck loads of leaves so i think by the time the weekends out she will start thickening out. But theres definitely decent potential there.

OK, so here are pics for one. I will do a separate post to describe what i love about them and some of the cool features they have. This will show their versatility.

Hey all!! Time for a new update.

I have had a busy week! Quite a few things to show and tell. Check out the post on the unbox of the sky 100s! I was so happy , they are amazing and the results speak for themselves...

Here are the girls at day 72 ... They are nearing the end now, i am just waiting for their fade to finish and to go through the motions of the final phases. They have started on overdrive for a little while before i flush but i will just read them and see how they are happy... if atall haha... you guys can decide. I am conscious of mould so there is constant airflow, in and out of tent, RH of 40% - 50% inside tent.

Lovely shots Bro.
You've managed a decent grow.... now to harvest, dry and cure your sweet buds....

While cropping, get ready to scrape all that lovely scissor hash off, I consider it to be the only perk of cropping..... a privelige for the arsehole task that cropping is.
Why not bong it as you go! I wipe my scraped clean scissor blades with a bit of WD40 every now and then... keeps them from sticking, and makes it easier to get the hash off them. I don't thiink the minute traces of WD40's gonna kill me.

what's your plans for the chop, Bro..... get it wrong and all that work goes up the spout.

I remove all sweetleaf, then either hang long stems in a cardboard packing box with loads of holes punched in it.... or separate the buds off and brown paper bag them, hanging them up using a sock hanger.
Jiffy bag the sweetleaf, stick it in the freezer and use it for making ice hash or canna coconut oil.

Get the bud dry so the little stems just snap, jar them and check the RH of the buds, get it to 62% ish and pack with a few Bovedas to keep the RH constant. Jar for a month or so, and tasty buds await!

Hopefully you have a load of kilner jars, a good few Boveda 62 packs as well, they do keep the bud in tip top condition for smoking, and makes the curing process better as well.... less fucking around with burping jars etc.
You'd wanna get yourself a little hygrometer... look at some online cigar shops for the Caliber IV hygrometer.... great size for sticking in jars and checking that the bud is at the right dryness....

Don't overdry it.... tempting but it's better to reduce the moisture content slowly rather than adding moisture to bring it up to 62%... you'll be surprised, not too dry, eh... springy dry rather than crispy dry. Check it by jarring for an hour and use a hygrometer.... you can always re-paper bag it to get it down to 62%

All the best for the final run and the crop!::::

You going have some lovely buds to smoke, teetee told you about drying.
Just slow dry. i hang them for 1 week or more than in glass jar for a few weeks.

Tee tee so good to hear your instructions for dry and cure process. You read my mind!!::::
Thank you, i will be following these down to the letter.
I am definitely going to bong as i grow when im cropping bro!! ill be there scissors in one hand and my one hitter in the other
Yeah, im sure a little bit of WD40 wont do any harm... especially when theres people out there sniffing glue
Do you remove the sweetleaf when its wet? How long do you hang/dry it for? I was going to just hang the plant then dry trim afterwards? What are your thoughts on this method?
I need to buy some Bovedas and a hygrometer thank you for letting me know bro. I'll check out the one you suggested and grab it where i can... Shall i just buy one and move it from jar to jar?

Ok i will get the hanging box ready for them. Im going to hang dry them at about 50% RH.. is that ok?

Before you chop do you ever leave the plants in darkness? or is there no point as they will be hung anyway?

Cheers bro, i was thinking the same thing in terms of dry period. Great minds think alike! I really . cant wait to smoke the shit out of this crop. I am using flawless finish by advanced nutrients to flush, its supposed to be the shit! I will do two plants without to see what the difference in smoke i so i can see for myself.

Thanks again for all of your advice guys i truly appreciate it and i couldn't have pulled off this grow without your guys' knowledge, experience and expertise. I am truly thankful for being to learn from some OG growers. I look forward to learning more from you and maybe even one day, be able to put my own two cents forward.

peace and good vibes out to you guys.

hey everyone!

Thought i would update again, the girls are pretty much done now. I have decided to chop in the next 7/10 days or so.

I am starting the flush today!

Here they are before they go into that last stretch. I think i have timed this right, the plants i feel were showing me they were ready with their fades imminent and following a pattern...

This could be totally wrong, but the buds seemed to go through a few stages, first showing pistils and then browning those off and then getting really frosty and some lovely colour. You will see what i mean in the photos. Sorry for the not so great photos i was in a rush...

Heres the group on day 80

Group shoot.jpg

Plant 1
She isn't in the group shot because she's getting special treatment in the corner. But its ok i'm just letting her go at her own rate and giving everything she needs. She is still on EC1.8 feed and pH 6-6.5. She was on ec 2 but her tips seemed to yellow off a bit so i diluted the mix with some straight tap water... @Teetee look at me go!!!:biggrin: :d5: Also i have grown more confident defoliating wise... I have decided to experiment on her and take of ANY leaves that re shading or growing into each other... Just to see what happens... If it pays off i think in the next grow around week 7/8 i will do the same... although probably not needed if im doing aggrssive training.

She's super sticky, dark green foliage and smells incredible.

The hefty and stumpy girl. She has started showing some beautiful oranges. I put my hands around the buds so you could see for scale around how thick they are.

Super frosty and dense buds, not the biggest but they ave a real gassy smell. I didn't take a full length photo... must have forgotten lol. Heres a close up of the bud though.

Plant 4
My super frosty wonder girl. I think she has retained a special place in my heart. Beautiful colours and a smell to die for. She will be jarred up and saved!!

In the whole pic you can see the weight of her buds is making her lean to the right. They are lovely hard and large nuggets!

SO thats it for this time... Feeding has stopped as of yesterday and tonight they start their flush. They will be flushed with 3/3.5l of water daily for a week.

Time to get the drying box ready!!

Peace.
