Hey everyone, it's my first post here, just wanted to post a question about Greenhouse Seeds..

In Amsterdam I've always liked their strains and coffeeshops, but I heard some things about some 'dodgy' behaviour in terms of them stealing some strains etc. There was some Italian guy or something that Arjun stole from?

I was interested to know if anyone had any further information on this, I thought that growers might be a bit more in the know.. thanks!

From what I understand, Arjan joined the established team at Greenhouse, then later booted out the founders... Shanti and Neville. Shanti was the original breeder at GHS and had a good name, making good strains. Now it has all changed.... they win consistently in Cannabis Cup competitions, but it is alleged they 'buy' the judges by holding free cannabis breakfast sessions at their coffee shop during the comp, and they hand out Judges passes to general members of the publiic, already bribed and caned with free smoke.

Arjan is more business minded and has a TV show called strainhunters, where they go round the world looking for Landrace strains, it is claimed he gets the Landrace seeds from the traditional growers, and gives them GHS strains to grow instead, effectively eliminating, not preserving the Landrace Strains, as they claim to do. They then cross the landraces and make their own strains to sell, but growers report plenty of hermies and unstable genetics. Only their Super Lemon Haze gets rave reviews.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these are the rumours I heard. Having said all that, I'm growing a couple of Greenhouse's Jack Herer Autos, and they are doing the best out of my current grow.

Go Dutch Passion Bro, I'm sure someone will fill you in as to why they are so reliable.
